Marilyn Neuburger has a master's degree in speech pathology from Southern Illinois University. She also did graduate study in linguistics at Millersville University and received further training in teaching English as a second language from professional organizations.

Ms. Neuburger worked as a speech pathologist in a variety of settings for fifteen years. She has taught ESL to adults since 1998 when she became an instructor at the York County Literacy Council. From 2003-2010 she taught advanced ESL continuing education classes at Penn State York. She has offered private accent modification and ESL teaching services through Clear English since 2003.
